Story is character, and characters are mirrors of ourselves. The greatest tales delve into the human condition in creative and insightful ways as a means to tell us more about who we are and who we can be. This is why I love writing. Exploring the vast expanse of lives in worlds based in reality and fantasy kindles the imagination and connects me to others in the purest sense of the word. My goal is to share these stories and extend them beyond the expected into the realm of wonder and fancy.

My writing experience began back before I went to college at Houston Baptist University, where I earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition. I wrote three screenplays during my time there and after, all of which received awards from the Houston International Film Festival. After working as a script supervisor in both Houston and L.A., I discovered that I was in love with story and wanted to pursue writing novels.

So now, I am a YA and A multi-genre author who loves complex characters in emotionally moving stories. I write to encourage empathy and understanding of one another. When I’m not writing, I’m often reading, crafting, following my fandoms, and dancing like a fool. My husband and I have made Houston our little corner of the world and expand our horizons as often as we can through travel.
